Sandeep Biswas is a BFA from Delhi College of Art, New Delhi- 1993 and a Visiting Associate Fellow (Department of Photography) from Kyoto University of Art and Design, Japan-2002.
A Delhi-based photographer with 8 solo and more than 80 group exhibitions including art and photography festivals in India, Japan, The USA, France, Greece, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Chile, China & The UK.
He has won a few prestigious awards from AIFACS, and Alliance Francaise de India among others, and fellowships including The Japan Foundation Fellowship, India Habitat Center Fellowship for photography, and The Senior Artist Fellowship by the Ministry of Culture in India (extraordinary persons in the field of culture).
Guest lectures and master classes with NID (Madhya Pradesh), NIFT (New Delhi), IGNCA ( New Delhi), Pearl Academy ( New Delhi), Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi), UID (Gandhinagar) and Changan University (Xi’an, China) among others.
Conducted workshops in India and the USA.

Invited curator with VASA-Project an international online center for media studies and Galeria Quarentena (Chile).
Photographed for more than 2 decades for UNICEF, ILO, JICA, WHO, Global Health Strategies, and BIRAC among others. Photographed for 4 published coffee table books and other prestigious photography projects.
